Food during your stay

On arrival we like to meet and greet our guests with a relaxing afternoon tea with homemade cake or scones, taken either in the garden or in the dining room

in the winter. Breakfast is in the cottage dining room.

We offer a choice of cereals, porridge, seasonal fresh fruit salad, nuts, fruit juice, yogurt, full English breakfast (or a choice therefrom), or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or a choice of omelettes, toast with homemade conserves, croissants and of course lots of tea and fresh coffee.

For the early riser who does not want a cooked breakfast, or who wants breakfast before 7.30, we can offer a continental breakfast.

There are a number of excellent local pubs providing an evening meal. Within 5 minutes walk of the cottage is The Hampshire Arms, and 10 minutes stroll will take you to the heart of Crondall where there is a village store with Post Office and another pub, The Plume of Feathers, which dates back to the 16th century. We are more than happy to recommend local places to eat and to make reservations for you. Please be aware that neither pub provides food on Sunday evenings.
